ReReeti’s ‘Retihaas’ is an initiative whose aim is to make #history relevant, reachable, and relatable for students. Its objective is to develop interactive and engaging #teachingmodules for historical events. In doing so, ‘Retihaas’ projects attempt to bring a #pedagogical shift in the study of history in classrooms. It encourages students to not view history in the chronological order that it is often taught in, but amalgamate their text based understanding of history with other methodological tools such as objects, material culture, and oral history. Over the last few years, ReReeti has undertaken projects on India’s involvement in #WWI and through that has unearthed and catalogued a vast variety of subject research. This research has been collated on the website ‘Retihaas: A Learning Resource.’ Here are the #resources that have been curated at Retihaas under this topic 👉🏻 Access the Learning Resource here – https://lnkd.in/gnvF-6Ef

University of Sargodha is ZERO in front of students 😞 But... 😎 . . . the reality is quite different now. The university has undergone significant positive transformations. Under the leadership of the Vice-Chancellor, it has evolved into a dynamic institution with a growing reputation for excellence. 👍 Numerous improvements have been made, ranging from the refurbishment of the incubation center and library to active involvement in research projects. 📚🔬 The development of new infrastructure and enhanced services for non-teaching staff further contribute to the positive changes. 💻📈 In essence, the University of Sargodha is no longer merely a zero in the eyes of the students; it has become a hub of progress, innovation, and academic growth, thanks to the dedicated efforts and vision of its leadership. 🙌 #UOSTransformation #LeadershipGoals #StudentEmpowerment #VisionaryLeadership #HigherEdRevolution #InnovationInEducation #CampusRevitalized #ResearchExcellence #AcademicGrowth #UniversityProgress #StudentVoice #UOSRising #TransformingEducation #CampusRenewal

Hey LinkedIn network! 🌟 Would like to shift your attention from Ambani's wedding to our little buddies 's learning experience. Do you remember the Indus valley civilisation we all studied during class 6th. Here's some recent updates about it. The NCERT has recently introduced some major changes that reflect new perspectives on India's rich history and cultural heritage. Here’s a quick rundown of the six major changes: 1️⃣ **Revised Historical Perspectives**: The book now highlights that the Indus-Sarasvati Civilization was not just part of the Harappan Civilization but had its unique identity. 🏛️🔍 2️⃣ **Emphasis on Ancient Prime Meridian**: Discover how ancient India had its own 'Prime Meridian' – an exciting nod to the sophisticated understanding of geography! 🌍🧭 3️⃣ **Cultural Highlights**: New sections delve deeper into India's diverse cultural practices and contributions throughout history. 🎨🎶 4️⃣ **Updated Historical Events**: Certain historical events have been reassessed to provide a more accurate representation of India's past. 📜🔄 5️⃣ **Interactive Learning**: Enhanced illustrations and activities are designed to make learning more engaging and interactive for young minds. 🖼️🔄 6️⃣ **Focus on Local History**: The textbook now includes more on local history, helping students connect better with their own regions' past. 🗺️🏘️ These changes aim to provide a more comprehensive and relatable understanding of our rich heritage and history. What do you think about these updates? How do you feel they will impact students' learning experiences? Writes sameer khan: While the stellar performance of institutions like Jadavpur University, Jamia Milia Islamia and Aligarh Muslim University can be attributed to various factors, it's the unmatched role of human factors—dedication, loyalty, hard work, and their exceptional ability to go above and beyond—that truly sets them apart from the rest. This ability to go above and beyond is known as Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), and it just might be the elixir that today's organizations need to survive. https://lnkd.in/ddHJYGRv

It's not always that you listen to anecdotes from someone who is a strategic advisor, living in the US for the past 50 years, worked at World Bank Development Economics, served as a professor & took various advisory projects. Had the pleasure of speaking to Professor Subodh Mathur & getting featured in his 𝑽𝒊𝒅𝒑𝒆𝒅: 𝑨 𝑽𝒐𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑨𝒍𝒍, which is an initiative to provide young people a platform to express and share their views. When sir reached out at first, one thing I did not understand was, founders, working professionals or sector experts are usually invited for podcasts or discussions like these. But the idea of Vidpeds is slightly different. It is a raw, unfiltered & unstructured open-ended conversation with no fixed set of questions or pre-described script or theme. What I loved was our off-record conversation listening to sir's story of moving to the US, working on some projects for the World Bank & his time at Freedom Employability Academy, FEA. 𝐓𝐰𝐨 𝐤𝐞𝐲 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬: 1. 𝑩𝒆 𝒂 𝒃𝒊𝒕 𝒄𝒓𝒂𝒛𝒚 if you want freedom from not working in a set structure or organization in the long run. Crazy for following your ideas, for being who you are rather than following the herd. 2. Try to use 𝒇𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝒑𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈. It helps to break down the most complex problems that lead us to the endless loop of doubt, confusion & overthinking. Sir is looking for young people in their 20s, also open to talking to students in 11th & 12th. Feel free to reach out to me & he'd be happy to chat more:) #learning #experience #conversations #podcast #vidped #networking

How she tried to find a balance between academics & extracurricular like being commander in guiding & scouting or representing Vidyapeeth at state-level camps and then working as a radio jockey after school. She emphasizes the importance of learning, exploring and finding the right balance in your 20s sharing some of her incidents & anecdotes. ***I have a typo in her name. It is Riya, not Riua. Very tough to change here.***
