As a realtor, every successful sales transaction opens doors to new business opportunities. The trust that earned you the first sale can be built upon to foster ongoing relationships with clients, leading to additional sales and business prospects. This is a valuable lesson I have learned throughout my experience in the real estate industry. Although it may be relatively easy to secure repeat business and referrals from existing clients, it is essential to employ careful planning, expand your business scope, and cultivate strong relationships to capitalize on new opportunities that extend beyond traditional real estate transactions. A parcel of land sold to a client holds significant potential for additional business prospects. At some point, the client will likely require development services for the land. As a realtor, it is crucial to recognize that your role extends beyond merely selling land and earning commissions. Instead, focus on positioning yourself to leverage on all potential value chains emerging from each land sale. The real estate business encompasses more than just selling land.
