ASIC vs FPGA vs SoC ASICs: Designed for specific applications, offering high performance and efficiency but with high initial costs and long development times. Ideal for tasks needing dedicated, optimized hardware. FPGAs: Highly flexible with reconfigurable logic blocks, suitable for prototyping and development, offering moderate performance. They are more cost-effective for small to medium volumes compared to ASICs. SoCs: Integration of multiple functionalities (CPU, GPU, memory, peripherals) into a single chip, balancing performance and cost. They are suitable for a wide range of applications from mobile devices to embedded systems. Each type has its strengths and is chosen based on factors such as application requirements, development budget, time to market, and scalability needs.

Excited to announce the completion of the "Architecture and Programming of STM32 Microcontrollers" certification, led by the outstanding Mr KHALIL ABID at Centre Supérieur de Formation (CSF)! 🎓 During this comprehensive training, I: 🚀 Gained in-depth understanding of ARM / STM32 architectures. 🛠️ Created new projects and explored compilation options. 💻 Developed embedded applications using the new HAL library based on STM32CubeMX. 🔍 Mastered the architecture of ARM and STM32 cores, along with the principles of GPIO, EXTI, UART, TIMER, ADC, RCC, and DMA peripherals. 📡 Developed real embedded applications on STM32-based boards to control these peripherals effectively. Looking forward to applying this knowledge in future projects! 💼🌐 #STM32 #Microcontrollers #EmbeddedProgramming

I'm glad to announce that i developed an audio transmission system using an analog microphone and STM32 & Xilinx FPGA boards. The microphone's signal passes through a low-pass filter and is digitally processed by the first STM32 board. Using UART and RFD telemetry modules, the processed signal is sent to a FPGA board, which then transmits it to an external DAC via GPIO pins, ultimately playing the audio through headphones. #FPGA #Xilinx #STM32 #EMBEDDED #AUDIO #DIGITAL #eclipse #vhdl #C

🔥 🔥 🔥 Recently, I've designed the highly integrated SDR module NVX-ORC-A6x based on the AMD Artix 7 (XC7A200T) FPGA and the RFIC AD9361 high-frequency transceiver from Analog Devices in a form factor of M.2 2280 Key M with PCIe Gen x4, one banks of DDR3, 10DOF MEMS and GPS module. ✔ 2 prototypes (version 1.0) were successfully assembled and tested using LattePanda 3 Delta (x86), NanoPC-T4 and Khadas VIM3 Pro (ARM). ❓ I would like to know if there is interest in such a project and if some members of the community are interested in supporting the development of embedded software. #SoftwareDefinedRadio #SDR #OpenSource #DigitalRadio #ADI #wirelessCommunications #AnalogDevices #SDRbasedtechnology #software #rf #technology #spectrum #wireless #recording #signals #time #frequency #data #matchstiq #monitoring #radio #engineering #laptop #innovation #wireless #networks #telecommunications #RFsensing #SDR #RadioTechnology #DigitalSignalProcessing

STM8S005C6T6 All devices of STM8S005C6 value line provide the following benefits:performance, robustness, reduced system cost and short development cycles.Device performance and robustness are ensured by true data EEPROM supporting up to 100000 write/erase cycles, advanced core and peripherals made in a state-of-the-art technology at 16 MHz clock frequency, robust I/Os, independent watchdogs with separate clock source, and a clock security system. The system cost is reduced thanks to a high system integration level with internal clock oscillators, watchdog, and brown-out reset. The common family product architecture with compatible pinout, memory map and modular peripherals allow application scalability and reduced development cycles. All products operate from a 2.95 V to 5.5 V supply voltage. Full documentation is offered as well as a wide choice of development tools. #electronics #electronic #chips #chip #beauty #cool #interesting #knowledge
