Don’t trust the Alberta Tarsands Tarnation with Nuclear Energy & Radioactive Waste. The Alberta Government can’t, won’t or is unable to clean up abandoned conventional oil & gas wells, selenium laced coal mines or toxic tarsands tailings ponds. How will they guarantee safety to ensure there’s NOT a meltdown or a release of radioactive waste that will take 100,000 years, more or less to clean up?⚠️⛔️☢️⚠️ CBC News : Q&A: Small modular reactor proponents are gathering in Edmonton. Excited to see Microsoft colloborating with Constellation on nuclear energy. While we as an industry leverage more SMR capabilities, LNG can be a suitable additive source to provide power while we await permitting from the Office of Nuclear Energy, U.S. Department of Energy “Powering industries critical to our nation’s global economic and technological competitiveness, including data centers, requires an abundance of energy that is carbon-free and reliable every hour of every day, and nuclear plants are the only energy sources that can consistently deliver on that promise,” Constellation.
