Spain's football dominance continues strong

Money matters. While others might say that money isn't everything which is quiet true, it does seem to be a requirement... Money doesn't at all guarantee success however those that do win have the money. Looking at UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE to top 5 European leagues. The log is a sign of who are the have and have not, ofcourse there are are exceptions, this year a team like West Ham for their squad worth are overperforming and secondly a team like Chelsea is underperformed but generally more so top performing teams have the highest squad worth. No team recently resembles this like the gunners, when Unai left reigns 2019, the squad worth was around 659mil euros finishing 5th on the log, fast forward now they have the second most expensive squad at 1.12billion after the most dominant team in the land Man City with Liverpool not too far off either. Its then no surprise that Arsenal are now contending in the past two years in the log. PSG BAYERN MADRID and Juve for quiet some time had been dominant with greater squad worth. From semi finalist and often the winners of UEFA are no different, squad worth has direct correlation to results. Money might not be everything but it certainly correlating factor to success.

🔵 Notification for FIFA Football Agents ◾ FIFA Jurisprudence concerning satisfying eligibility requirements for obtaining and preserving rights on Fifa Football Agent's License. ◾ 19th November 2024, FIFA rendered Decisions of the FIFA General Secretariat, the body responsible for assessing compliance with the eligibility requirements for all Agents who apply to take the FIFA Exam and monitoring the compliance of existing Agents with the stated eligibility criteria. ◾ The aforementioned rules are prescribed in Article 5.1. FIFA Football Agents Regulations. ◾ The 15 published decisions of FIFA contain an important practice that must be satisfied for the applicant to take the FIFA exam to take the said exam and for the existing FIFA Agent to retain the right to retain the FIFA License. ◾ The most frequent violations by Agents within the framework of the published decisions are providing FIFA Agent services without a FIFA Agent license, being convicted of criminal offences, and holding a function in a club, association, or confederation. ◾ The most common sanctions prescribed by the FIFA General Secretariat are: - ban on acquiring a FIFA license for 2 years and - provisional suspension of the FIFA license. ◾ The aforementioned practice emphasizes the prerequisite of obtaining a FIFA License for agents to provide the aforementioned services, as well as the importance of maintaining a good reputation to retain the right to provide FIFA Agent services. Russia’s national football team to play its first-ever game against Brunei Based on the FIFA rankings, the team of Brunei will be Russia’s weakest opposent ever KRASNODAR, November 15/ Russia’s national football team will play its fourth match in 2024, facing the team of Brunei at the 35,000-seat capacity Krasnodar Arena on Friday. The game will begin at 7:00 p.m. Moscow time (4:00 p.m. GMT). According to the RFU’s previous statements, friendly football matches between the national teams from Russia, Brunei and Syria this month would be officially registered by the world’s governing body of football, FIFA. The national football team of Russia is also scheduled to play a friendly against the Syrian national team on November 19. The national football team of Brunei is 184th in the FIFA World Rankings. Russia and Brunei have never played each other. Based on the FIFA rankings, the team of Brunei will be Russia’s weakest opposent ever. Russia’s football ban The International Association Football Federation (FIFA) announced on February 28, 2022 that the Russian national team and all professional clubs representing the country were barred from taking part in FIFA tournaments. In turn, the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) made a similar decision in regard to the Russian national football team’s participation in UEFA tournaments. Both FIFA and UEFA cited Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine as grounds for their respective bans on Russian teams’ participation in competitions. The event will take place at the Chatelet Theater in Paris at 22:15 Moscow Time. This is the first time that the "Golden Ball" will be awarded together with the UEFA. Between 2010 and 2015, the France Football magazine awarded the prize together with FIFA. Since 2016, there have been two awards: according to the magazine and according to FIFA. In 2023, the Ballon d’Or was awarded to Argentina’s Lionel Messi, who has eight such awards. We believed we lived in a “rule-based” world. Just follow the rules and you will stay out of trouble. & if you broke a rule, you would be held accountable. But recent events have shattered this illusion. We now know that the “rules” we held in such high regard are selectively enforced. The powerful can get away with anything. While the rest of us are demonized for minor infractions. Universal morality is no longer applied. Actions are moral or immoral based on who performed them. Heinous acts are moral & justified if committed by those in power. Any rule can be broken as long as you have the power to do so. I remember the outrage when the European Super league was proposed. How could a handful of wealthy clubs create an exclusive competition while preventing other clubs from participating. I remember how FIFA, UEFA, pundits and fans labelled this proposed competition as a war on football’s integrity. They argued that football is supposed to be about competition and merit. If a club wanted to participate in a premier competition, they must earn the right to do so. The club must compete on the football pitch and qualify on merit. The collective public outrage buried the European Super league within 72 hours of its announcement & in that moment, the football world pledged, “never again”. But a few years removed from that dark day, we are seeing history repeat itself. As the USA prepares to host the club world cup in 2025, we are witnessing a blatant disregard of merit and the spirit of competition. But this time, the perpetrators are not some rogue money hungry clubs. Instead, the custodian of football, FIFA itself has assaulted the spirit of competition. The final spot for the Club World cup was reserved for the host nation USA, with winners of the MLS cup, USA’s premier football competition, expected to represent the host nation. But to everyone’s shock, FIFA president Gianni Infantino announced that Messi’s Inter Miami qualified for the Club world cup after winning the “Supporter’s shield”, a secondary domestic competition. FIFA & the MLS never announced that the winner of the supporter’s shield would play in the club world cup. This decision was clearly made after Messi & Inter Miami won the competition. DC United would not be playing in the Club World Cup if they won the supporter’s shield. Instead, FIFA would have waited for the outcome of the MLS Cup, hoping for an Inter Miami victory. The spirit of football is only under threat when clubs don’t follow merit. But FIFA is allowed to violate the spirit of competition when it suits their goals. The powerful enforce rules when it suits them, & they shatter the same rules when it suits them. BIG NEWS: Consensus was reached that the possibility of holding an online exam should be pursued to allow more candidates to take the exam without incurring travel costs and other related expenses that could serve as a barrier to entry the profession for prospective football agents. Since an online exam was not compatible with article 6 of the FFAR, such provision was amended to provide the FIFA administration with the necessary flexibility to determine the exam procedure.
