Continuing with our reflections on 2023... ✨ This year saw an amazing 10 product releases from Figshare. These all worked to maintain and improve our repository infrastructure and many of the new features and enhancements are a result of feedback from our wonderful community. 🧡 Highlights from our product releases this year included: 🌟 A new edit-item interface for adding content to Figshare 🌟 The ability to remove the download option on a Figshare item 🌟 Enhanced metadata-crosswalks 🌟 Improvements to the search functionality across Figshare, including new custom facets 🌟 Continued and sustained evaluation and improvements of our accessibility standards These improvements are part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining and enhancing our platform, with no updates required from our clients to ensure they have the latest features.
