This is the difference between a job to be done framework and a “roadmap”/solution sentence framework. If you articulate what outcome you are trying g to get to I.e. a 30cm turn radius you get real innovation as opposed to checking the box on “better turning”

While cleaning out my Drive, I found an old resume with a PLTW engineering competition listed from high school. Aryaman Ravi, remember our little VEX Robot from Engineering Science Class? This project set me on fire for engineering because we defined project needs and designed a robot from scratch to compete in the competition. Then, we prototyped, prototyped, and prototyped... In retrospect, it's awesome seeing where my skills of problem solving, innovation, and design thinking started to take off. The year prior, we were designing trains and castles in CAD Software. Now, as an Instructional Designer, experiences like these have served as a model for how I can optimize people's workflow through Learning Design & Talent Development. ◾️What behavior do people need to change/adopt? ◾️How does this benefit the culture of the organization? ◾️How can we simulate this behavior to maximize results? 🗨 What's a project that set you on fire at a young age?
