Organizations thriving to provide omnichannel experience face complex issues by default. Dealing with that complexity requires much more than just providing good data in CRM. All customer relationship management activities are necessary, and this is what the company must do to serve its market well. In Wurth Srbija we know that solving complex issues arising from demanding requests of our clients, that our company is encountering in our quest for great omnichannel experience, is more about internal communication, organizational culture, decision-making processes, and the way work is structured and managed, than about just being good in data gathering and process setting. Throughout years many steps were taken, and many internal trainings and meetings organized to build and nurture our capacity to grow, deal with uncertainty and change. The cherry on the top of our cake was the Navigate Complexity training delivered in January this year by our long-standing consultant – Adrijana Strnad from ITO. We knew that the journey would continue, and more work (and cherries) would come 😊 Now, 5 months later, the top management and high potentials of the company are taking the next step – learning facilitation techniques to enable them take the participatory leadership path. Participatory leadership idea is built on the assumption that the knowledge, insights, and perspectives that will enable solving complex tasks, are with our people. Our aim is to learn to involve employees at all levels in the decision-making process, fostering a sense of ownership, empowerment, and engagement across the organization. We believe that with this approach we will be able to exploit the collective intelligence of the workforce to inform strategic decisions and solve the problems we face. Being a consultant that is applying her vast knowledge and practical experience in the topic of complexity Adrijana Strnad is THE person to empower and teach people. We had two great days with her. Not just “SEVA” but “SEVA BHAW” in other words “ SERVANT LEADERSHIP” It’s important to do “Seva” not just with money but being present and doing it physically, like my GURU has always taught me. But what is equally important is to have “SEVA” bhaw always. Which simply means always carrying the attitude of “Serving Others”. I, fortunately associate with people who have always lead by example and have taught me the importance of service. We follow a culture of “Servant Leadership” that focusses on the leader with the highest authority, serving the last man in the team. Helping them and leading them not with force and designations, but by showing the way himself. A philosophy well practiced by the father of our nation Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. The higher we rise, the more we serve people who are dependant on us, learn from us or look upto us. Thats how we can truly serve people around us, contribute to their life and help them grow. The best part is that, following this principle helps us evolve as a human being too. #seva #leadership #tuesdaythoughts
