Choosing the right rewards program can make or break your retention efforts: Here's what you need to consider before choosing a rewards program. 1 - Users: Do they have an existing user base? 2 - Offers: Are the offers they provide relevant to the customers? How does the program determine which offers are relevant to your customers? (What sort of data do they collect to make that decision?) 3 - Ease of use: Does the program apply rewards as the customers make purchases? Or do your customers need to redeem their points on different websites? You need to select a program that can drive actual incrementality, and generate revenue for your brand, not one that acts as another cost center.
