Another amazing week in Singapore at the #InsightsForum and #SFF (Singapore FinTech Festival) meeting old friends, making new ones, developing the foundations and networks needed for an open, trusted and multilateral digital economy. Quiet and persistent leadership provided by the Singapore ecosystem has done much of the heavy lifting these past years, taking on more than its fair share of the burden of bringing public and private sector stakeholders from across the world together across national, industry and policy frontiers. From the early days of MAS partnerships through its phase as elevandi and now transforming into the Global Financial & Technology Network (GFTN), the community is now broader, more international, aware, and engaged. We have a common, global stake in shaping cornerstones of the new digital financial and ‘ledger economy’ that enhance opportunities from innovation for all. I look forward to growing integration in this movement of other institutions, governments, investors and industry partners that share a stake in the future contours of an open international economy. Looking forward to the continued progress of this action oriented organisation!
