Go ahead and give it a whirl. ⠀ We’ve also started working on Plan 2.0 with a fresh new look — now it’s more compact and easier to use. There are product updates that you can’t go without, like "Contractors". Initially, we designed the product for a more westernish model with salaries and hours, that we can use to calculate internal reates. If costs rise, the rate rises; if something changes in the resource, the rate changes too. But many Ukrainian users were hardened by COVID and war, and their teams now look like the Fellowship of the Ring, but with no budget. Frodo and Sam are on salary because they don’t eat much. Aragorn works cheaply because he’s a wanderer who loves good clients and interesting projects. The elf and dwarf are pure contractors, involved when possible, as we don’t want to increase payroll and overhead. This is a great model when you plan 5 days ahead. It’s often better to work on an hourly model and buy expertise and time where needed instead of growing your team overhead and directs. So, we added an update to the Team, allowing you to set contractors as team members, set fixed internal and client rates, and then include them in project estimates. This is just the start of the team update. More is coming. Except that we have updated the Plan, added some new widgets to the Team, and changed how you import timelogs to the projects.
