The preliminary roster of projects slated for evaluation in the Ten-Year Network Development Plan (TYNDP) 2024 has been unveiled. This initiative is geared towards bridging infrastructure disparities and bolstering the electricity grid across Europe. The draft TYNDP 2024 encompasses 176 transmission initiatives and 33 storage ventures, meticulously identified over a two-year period through scenario crafting and cost-benefit scrutiny. The finalised scenarios are scheduled for release in April 2024, followed by the publication of the System Needs Study outcomes and cost-benefit analysis later in the year. ENTSO-E, along with its 40 member Transmission System Operators, plays a central role in this endeavour, striving to pave the way for a more robust and sustainable energy landscape in Europe. https://lnkd.in/eAZhQ3gU

...so...can't help but wonder.......if all of this recent "posturing" is to try to convince the FERC to approve the (long overdue) extension request.....or for something else. This sounds like a continuation of the past 3 years. What info needs to be put out to restore confidence is the signing of contracts and financing......and that is being delayed because of the uncertainty of the delayed FERC decision. Launch of a pilot project on the use of digital tenge for marking budget funds A pilot Digital Tenge project was launched to finance the construction of the Dostyk-Moyynty railway. The goal of the pilot project is to increase the transparency and efficiency of government spending through the use of tokenized tokens.

The Bridgemans Services Group LP Floatel sits idle in Burrard Inlet, returning there after District of Saanich denied Woodfibre LNG’s application for a temporary use permit” citing concerns over safety, environmental, and community impacts. Council also cited a lack of information from the company as its reasons for saying no to the refurbished cruise ship that is intended to act as a floating workforce accommodation. “[It’s] hard to comprehend,” said Christine Kennedy, the President of Woodfibre LNG. “The District has asked repeatedly since 2019 – to the company and to regulators – that the project workforce be housed outside of Squamish, which is exactly what the floatel delivers.” Kennedy goes on to say, “A councillor suggested that there are better solutions than a floatel. Housing options were considered and discussed with the District over a five-year engagement process, during which the District repeatedly asked the company and regulators to house non-local workers outside the community due to low vacancy rates in Squamish. Woodfibre LNG responded with the floatel. If Council had better ideas, they had five years to bring those forward.” On Tuesday May 21, Squamish Council decided to reconsider its decision and has postponed a final vote until June 4th. On June 4th, Council kicked the decision down the calendar referring the matter back to staff.
