About 50 high school students in Rockhampton took to coding and robotics to learn about how technology is changing careers in agriculture, thanks to a series of microcredential courses designed to upskill their teachers. Students at The Cathedral College took part in the microcredential, Next-Gen Ag Teachers, a course that their teachers had recently completed through a professional development opportunity provided by CQUniversity and the Queensland Government microcredentialing program. And the results speak for themselves. 🐮🤖 FULL STORY: https://ow.ly/l9sJ50UaCUw

Nowadays, when my mid-term plan is to teach math and robotics to lower elementary school kids, it's weird to see that I missed an opportunity like this. Not because I wouldn't have taken it, but because I didn’t check my messages. I only read it now, 14 years after it was sent. No use crying over spilt milk. That is the message I have got: "I wanted to ask if you'd like to teach Flash at GDF this semester? You'd need to deliver 51 hours, handle assessments, and the subject's syllabus is up to you. The main point is to help students further develop their Flash skills. Please reply as soon as possible, preferably by email, because I need to get back to them." GDF means Gábor Dénes University (GDE), formerly known as Gábor Dénes College. The university provides bachelor's, master's, and specialized higher education programs in fields such as engineering informatics, business informatics, management and business administration, and technical management.
