I found an interesting article by Dambisa Moyo, an economist and board member at 3M and Chevron. He mentions these points to help develop ESG strategies: 1. Is ESG undermining your company’s competitiveness? 2. Does driving the ESG agenda mean sacrificing company returns? 3. How are you navigating ESG trade-offs, and do those trade-offs fit into the larger regulatory framework? 4. How do you build an ESG framework that is future-proofed for tomorrow’s economic realities? 5. How do you vet the company’s performance of ESG?
