In a world where scams are just a click away, your vigilance is your best defense. Here are some golden rules to keep your information safe while using your cell phone: 1. Don’t trust caller ID. Scammers are crafty and can fake numbers. 2. Register your number with the National Do Not Call registry at donotcall.gov to avoid unwanted calls. 3. See a “business” number in a text? Don’t take it as proof of legitimacy. Received a text asking to confirm or provide personal info? Delete it immediately. #FightFraudFriday #FinancialSecurity #StayProtected #FightFraud
