According to FNB data, on Mother’s Day in 2024, its customers spent approximately R50 million compared to R38.8 million weekly average. Imagine if every restaurant owner’s bank account was displayed on the wall. The industry would change overnight. And it’s not for a good reason. Too many owners open a second venue too early, and it’s all fueled by one thing. Ego. They think, “I want more sites. I want to be everywhere.” Instead of focusing on more profit, they rush to expand. They want to show off. But here’s the truth: they are killing themselves. Ego makes you focus on what others can see… Not on what’s actually going into your bank account. Success isn’t about how many venues you have. It’s about the profit in your bank. And sometimes, the numbers in your bank account should only be a private victory.

- The Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) clarifies that the 8% Sindh Sales Tax (SST) on restaurant services paid through digital methods (debit cards, credit cards, mobile wallets, QR scanning) is still in effect. - Recent reports suggesting the withdrawal of this reduced tax rate are incorrect. - Restaurants wanting to charge the higher 15% SST for digital payments must get permission from SRB. - Currently, only 58 out of over 1700 registered restaurants have received this permission. - Customers should check the applicable SST rate on the SRB website or ask the restaurant for proof of SRB permission before dining. - More details can be found on the SRB website: https://lnkd.in/d6FtwZeF #SindhRevenueBoard #SST #DigitalPayments #RestaurantTax #TaxCompliance

If it’s the only the number of flyers which defines the “larger airport” club, it’s a serious issue. As a frequent flyer for both domestic and international travels, this airport lacks items like: 1. Hurdles in entering the airport checkin counters, people at the gates can’t read your identity, QR code machines not functioning properly. 2. Unorganised queues in checkin counters 3. Lousy and totally irritating luggage inspection system. 4. Day time robbery by food stalls. Simple coffee inside the airport costs 10-times compared to outside coffee shops.
