So what's up with this campaign, that's going massively viral? No apparent big idea, no message, no nothing that we always try so desperately to sell to our clients. Is it because it's underwear? is it because it's Jeremy Allen White? Is it because its catchy, "You don't own me" girl power soundtrack? New York shot with perfect lighting? all the above? Is this craft at its best for what's intended? well, I believe so. See you in a bit. I'm off to buy some pants.

I talk about marketing, socials, tech, and try not to be boring when I do it. Client Associate @Passionfruit |Surf/ski adventurer (desperate for another surf trip actually)
How to get 1.2M views? You need to grab people’s attention. Get them to stop scrolling. So what did Scuffers do? They dressed up Big Ben in their new jumbo pants. -It definitely grabs our attention as we question if it’s real or not. -They used an iconic symbol instantly recognisable to everyone. -When you’re on the border of reality/virtual, often you get more engagements as people debate the ‘truth’. -Humour. Yes, the jumbo pants really are the size of Big Ben. The days of only promoting your jeans on a white billboard with a model are over. With so much content and ads being pumped out every day, to stand out you need to be different. And then times that by 100. And some. It’s the creative brands pushing the boundaries of what an ad is that will succeed. Jaime Cruz Vega Javier López Reinoso

Lol I love how all of these marketing guys are like, "Whaaa??? Why is this ad so popular?" It reminds me of the statistic that is something like 93% of creative advertising managers are men, and 92% of women feel misunderstood by the advertising industry. And women control about 85% of consumer spending. It's almost like men don't understand what women want. The advertising industry has a long history of featuring scantily clad women in their ads, which...feminism aside, is a business problem. When the median woman's size is XL, most women neither see themselves as the size 0 in your advertising nor are attracted to her (I'm pansexual but if memory serves openly LGBTQIA+ folks only represent 10ish% of the market). If anything you run the risk of alienating your target market. Featuring a scantily clad man in your advertising, however...that's just good business sense appealing to the vast majority of the market and I encourage more brands to jump on this bandwagon. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to rewatch this ad a few more times. For...you know. Market research. And #feminism #advertising #marketing #girlpower #consumerinsights

We present to you some of the creative Christmas adverts with which companies create emotions for their customers. Do not forget that branding is the emotional connection of your products and services to the perception of your brand. Today we present to you John Lewis. Let your traditions grow. This is a story about a perfect Christmas tree named Snapper. Snapper might not be perfect to you or us but he is perfect in every way to a boy called Alfie, who grew him from a seed. https://lnkd.in/e7YEE3S2
