Card and check theft can occur in various places, often where individuals are less vigilant or where thieves have easy access to financial information. Some of the most common places include stores, restaurants, public transportation, locker rooms, events, and many others. Taking precautions such as using secure ATMs, keeping personal belongings close, and being cautious with card information can help mitigate the risk of card and check theft.
