#ApplicationsClosed I'm a big fan of this! Many experts will tell you, that even if the position has over 100 applicants on LinkedIn, you should still apply. I am not one of those believers. Many positions, especially senior executive roles, do not have 100 people that are qualified for the role Don't get me wrong, if you meet 80% of the qualifications, apply! But don't apply just to apply for the position if the company asks for 15+ years of experience and you have 5. Companies, when you post positions, be prepared to have 100+ people apply for your open role. Times are tough and there are a lot of people looking for roles. Having that many candidates may look good to the bosses, but when you dive deeper, there are probably 5% that are qualified and you may never find them as you will get discouraged and not dive into their background. That's where agencies come in. We can comb through those 100+ applicants when we post on LinkedIn, or we can use our network to build you a top-tier team that will then use their network to bring colleagues on board. 90% of the candidates that I have placed in my 10 year agency career have been passive, and many of those passive candidates are some of the longest tenured employees at those companies.
