Uplifting Leaders to embrace conscious leadership and tackle the gritty dynamics of work-life integration, DEIB needs, and org dev
This is excellent! When I have met with individuals to review their resume or coach them to explore their career options, I have always reminded them to look at their transferrable skills and to read job descriptions to see what resonates. Organizations don’t always get the “labeling” right. So we have to look beyond the title. For those in the job market, there is much opportunity to help recruiters and interviewers alike see how your work experiences apply to what they are searching for. Help them envision the connection by aligning your experiences with each point in the job description.
Senior Recruiter: Connecting companies and people in Nebraska from Ogallala to Omaha. Former LEO. Mid to Executive Level Corporate Recruiting
Stop looking at a job title and assuming you know what someone has done in their job. We need to look beyond a job title. I was a Police Officer: I didn't just "write tickets" -I worked month long investigations that ended in multiple felony arrests -I did year long community projects -I was a team Gang Liaison -I had high intelligence reports gathered from informants and street contacts -I worked with community resources to solve complex problems -I was a trainer and mentor -I attended specialized trainings for gangs and social media investigations -I was a role player for new recruit trainings -I was the first female night bike shift cop -I was the first female cop to interview for a Gang Investigator position -I worked with the Narcotics Task force to help set up female informants Experience goes deep if you dig a little. Recruiters don't just "find candidates: Accountants don't just "do taxes" Sales doesn't just "sell" Customer Service doesn't just "talk to people" Look beyond the job title, you might find what you are looking for!

👏 In our recent webinar with Chief Patrick Ogden, President of the Delaware Association of Chiefs of Police and one of our customers, we tackled the challenge of ensuring consistency in hiring across 50 police departments in Delaware. Chief Ogden highlighted two key elements: buy-in and communication. "A big part of communication is listening," he noted. By truly hearing the concerns of the Chiefs about maintaining individuality, the solution was clear: create individual QR codes and landing pages for each agency. This allows applicants to connect directly with specific departments, preserving their unique identity while streamlining the application process. 💯 Delaware's small size works in its favor. As Chief Ogden explained, "We've embraced statewide initiatives before, such as a unified report system and radio network. This hiring initiative is another step forward." Guardian Alliance Technologies enhances law enforcement recruitment through a cloud-based system that modernizes hiring and background investigation processes. We reduce recruitment time and costs, offering enhanced visibility and tracking. Simplify your recruitment process with our innovative cloud-based system. Enhance hiring and background investigation efficiency while preserving departmental individuality. Streamline operations today.
