Recently, our Chief Information Officer, Deb Gildersleeve, shared her insights and approaches to piloting GenAI in a VKTR.com article among other CIOs from around the world. As the tech landscape evolves, AI continues to reshape how we work within the events and experiences space. Here at FIRST, we embarked on an AI challenge to test different platforms exclusively for insights, from text generators to video editing tools. Our testers dove into a wide range of AI tools, including Chat GPT, Gemini, Runway, Ocoya, Beautiful.ai, Ideogram, Gamma, and Wordtune. 📌Explore our findings and takeaways on our latest blog 'AI: Your New Experience Designer": https://lnkd.in/gQj-jbYK #FIRSTAgency #Ai #BrandExperiences #EventTech #Eventprofs

This was such an interesting conversation on piloting GenAI. I love the work we've been doing at FIRST to test these technologies.

2moInteresting report on this ever-changing field. I've said for 4+ years that AI/ML tools are really "interns" that could can offload some initial work to; you'd never just send intern-produced work to clients and you wouldn't expect the output to be fully formed/accurate. We should treat AI/ML services in the same way - yes, they can help speed up initial work, yes they can inspire us and take us in directions that we wouldn't have thought of. But they are not yet "silver bullets" and they won't do everything for us. The super important part of this is ensuring the teams know how and when to use these services, and where the "watch outs" are. That can only come with deep experience of the services - so experimentation, evaluation, reporting and communication are a constant.
