Reminder. Stress hormones use up a lot of vitamin C, so you might need to top up. It takes a lot of effort for your body to stay in the top form, especially when a chronic stress is your daily companion. This is why I want to remind you to think about replenishing this important vitamin. Your immune system will need more vit.C in winter to fight all the infections going around. Don't like citrus fruit? Try broccoli, peppers in your meals or frozen berries in your smoothie or overnight oats. Is your gut stressed? When you’re under stress you’re in fight and flight mode. This is the opposite of rest and digest, which is where you want to be most of the time, especially when eating. If you eat whilst in fight or flight you won’t digest well, food will sit for longer and ferment causing bloating and wind. The stress hormone cortisol, which is naturally higher in menopause, will slow digestion and add to constipation. Anxiety will speed up transit time and cause loose stools. In today’s newsletter I share what you can do to protect your gut from stress. Click here to read - https://lnkd.in/eD6WAAd2.

Are These Things Contributing To Your Symptoms? This may come as a surprise to you but did you know that poor blood sugar regulation is a MAJOR reason so many women struggle with bloating and other digestive issues? Yep…when I look at root causes that are contributing to poor digestion I look at everything.., Including stress levels…exercise routines…how much water you consume…OTC medications…sleep habits… These are probably not things that your doctor would necessarily consider as contributing to your digestive troubles, but I have learned that these are actually some of the worst offenders. So I am curious…if you are doing an honest evaluation of your life, how many of these things do you think might be implicated in your symptoms? Share in the comments how many you think may be contributing and I will tag you in a resource! . . . #guthealth #holisticnutrition #functionalnutrition #digestion #guthealing #healthygut #womenshealth #autoimmune #chronicinflammation #hormones #constipation #bloating #sleephygiene #leakygut #glutenfree #AutoimmuneAwareness #DigestiveHealth #Microbiome #Probiotics #AntiInflammatoryDiet #HolisticHealth #WholeFoodNutrition #hormonebalance #recipes #consistencyiskey

Did you know?🤔 As we age, our hormone levels can fluctuate. One hormone, testosterone, can decline and contribute to those energy-zapping symptoms. Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) is a potential treatment option for women experiencing low testosterone. It involves supplementing the body's natural levels to improve symptoms. The Benefits of TRT: Feeling More Energized: Studies suggest TRT can improve energy levels and mental clarity. Managing Stress and Anxiety: TRT may influence stress hormones, potentially leading to less stress and anxiety.
