This week is 🚋 🚲 EUROPEAN MOBILITY WEEK, an awareness-raising campaign on sustainable urban mobility culminating in the Car-Free Day. It promotes behavioural change in favour of active mobility, public transport, and other clean, intelligent transport solutions. The theme of 2024 EMW is Shared Public Space 📍. We should collectively decide how to share our public space, and make sure everyone can move around safely and comfortably in a pleasant environment, especially pedestrians and cyclists. Shared public spaces should enable more social equity, more road safety, less noise and air pollution, and a better quality of life. Beside properly planning public spaces we should also chose cleaner and more sustainable vehicles 🚙. Did you know that the electric vehicle (EV) ⚡🚗 landscape in Norway continues to set records? The latest data from the market indicate an incredible participation of even 93.4 % of electric cars in the sale of new vehicles in August.
