Recently, Farid Said, MD, was recognized at The Ohio Hospital Association (OHA) 109th annual conference in Columbus from June 10-12! Dr. Said was Fisher-Titus' nominee for the OHA’s Albert E. Dyckes Health Care Worker of the Year award, which is presented each year to one Ohio caregiver who personifies a leader, gives back to the community, reflects the missions and values of his or her organization, and routinely goes beyond the call of duty. Dr. Farid Said’s significant lifetime contributions to Huron County residents made him a perfect candidate for nomination. For 48 years, he selflessly worked as a family medicine practitioner and general surgeon at Fisher-Titus Medical Center, and spent more than 20 years dedicated to the Fisher-Titus Foundation. Patients describe him as being a truly devoted physician and caregiver; stating he does not practice medicine, he humanizes medicine. We are proud to have nominated Dr. Said and was honored to celebrate his achievements alongside his family at OHA’s conference. Congratulations to Dr. Said for his nomination!
