90% of my clients want to lose fat. If you do too, do this: 1. Eat in a calorie deficit 2. Get 6k steps minimum 3. Up your fruit / veg intake 4. Drink at least 2litres of water 5. Weight train 3-5 times a week Here’s why: 1. This is scientifically the only way 2. Don’t underestimate movement 3. Fibre keeps you full for longer 4. Hunger’s usually dehydration 5. Burns calories, builds muscle Do those 5 things, and you will lose fat. It’s science. 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗘𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝟭𝟬 𝗙𝗮𝘁 𝗟𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 💭 1. Sometimes a shorter and more intense fat loss phase is more effective than a longer drawn out approach to keep you accountable. 2. Poor hydration causes increased hunger more than you’ll ever imagine. 3. Feeling hunger during a fat loss phase needs normalised- it’s essentially controlled starvation. 4. Limiting processed foods on a fat loss phase will keep you far more satiated. 5. Spending calories on liquids is a waste if you’re constantly hungry. 6. Increased expenditure beats decreased calories for creating a deficit. 7. In relation to above, increased steps is the best and easiest method. 8. If your ‘why’ isn’t strong enough, you’ll always make excuses not to stay on track. 9. Having zero accountability makes it almost impossible to stay on track… unless you’re a robot. 10. Have a plan for when your fat loss phase ‘finishes’, that’s where the real planning begins.
