This powerful workout method torches calories and builds muscle in a fraction of the time needed for traditional steady-state cardio.⁣ ⁣ As a fitness coach, I'm constantly asked about the benefits of HIIT workouts. Here are my top three reasons why HIIT should be a part of your exercise regimen:⁣ ⁣ 1️⃣ 𝑺𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝑻𝒊𝒎𝒆, 𝑻𝒐𝒓𝒄𝒉 𝑭𝒂𝒕 ⏰️⁣ ⁣ HIIT workouts take just 20 minutes, versus 30+ minutes for steady-state cardio sessions. You'll burn more fat and calories per minute during a HIIT workout than steady-state cardio. ⁣ Studies show HIIT can burn 25-30% more calories than other workouts in a third of the time.⁣ ⁣ 2️⃣ 𝑩𝒐𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝑴𝒆𝒕𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒎 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑯𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔 🔥⁣ ⁣ HIIT spikes excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC). This "afterburn effect" keeps your metabolism fired up, burning extra calories for up to 48 hours after your workout.
