How to switch between checkboxes and radio buttons on a field widget in Drupal? In the field widget settings, there is no direct option to switch between checkboxes and radio buttons. Instead, select the "Check boxes/radio buttons" widget type. The specific element (checkbox or radio button) displayed in the widget is determined by the "Allowed number of values" setting on the field: → If the "Allowed number of values" is set to "1", the widget will display radio buttons. → The widget automatically switches to checkboxes if the "Allowed number of values" is set to "2" or higher.
