Collaboration amplifies impact. In organisations you cooperate with other people to progress towards a common purpose. People progress purpose. So like it or not your success and fulfilment depends on those three things. The common purpose is up to the leaders and you need to buy into it. Progress is the result of great teamwork and brilliant management. Cooperating with other people is down to you. If you believe you and your team can become a more powerful force I will support you to empower each other to work together. DM me to find out more. #theatre #coaching #leadership

One of the questions we like to ask in team workshops is, "If leadership was a dance move, what dance move would it be?" 🤔😎 The team at Avanti Restaurant Solutions not only showed us what that dance would look like, they allowed us to record it. And, now we get to show all of you. 🙌 Enjoy. 😂😂😂 Oh, Avanti. We love you. ❤️ #LeadershipDevelopment #TeamWorkshops #AvantiRestaurantSolutions

Celebrations are like the 'you've arrived' notification on the GPS when you reach your destination. But what happens if we never get there? How do we keep our team feeling supported and engaged? If we only celebrate when we arrive, we miss the opportunity to keep them on track and prevent wrong turns. However, if we acknowledge progress as well as wins, we ensure that we stay on course throughout the journey. Those small victories, those moments when we get the little things right, are crucial. They help us avoid taking wrong turns and missing the chance to celebrate all together. The very best teams I've worked with celebrate not just wins, but also acknowledge progress. How do you acknowledge progress and celebrate wins? #worldofpossibility #salesleadership #businessleadership

Today was a good day. The picture below was taken this afternoon during a long overdue day of fellowship with my direct leaders (and Chris Barron, RACR) and the three incredible leaders standing beside me in this photo are my dream team. My squad. My secret weapons. Rayshawn Marshman, RACR is a powerhouse when it comes to team engagement. There is no other leader that I have known to engage their team the way that Rayshawn engages his. It is admirable and something I love to watch. Josh Huerth, you are the peacemaker, the bridge builder, and our "always look on the bright side" warrior. We wouldn't be where we are today without your ability to navigate change and facilitate transition. Ryan Khan, you are my newest direct leader and yet, you hold us accountable, you keep us on our toes, and you always ensure we are doing the right thing. You are invaluable to this team, and I know I speak for all of us when I share how grateful we are to have you. Trey Bales, not in this picture, is our leader who oversees our Augusta team. Trey and his team have had to pivot and shift more times than I can count and have been asked to navigate significant change in the past year. Even with all of the changes, Trey has demonstrated grace and commitment in his response to the transition and consistently provides an incredible amount of support for his team in the process. You rock, Trey. Wellstar and our team are lucky to have you. We've been through so much together over the past few years – navigating challenges, adapting to changes, and celebrating successes. Through it all, we have leaned on each other, good days and bad, and I cannot think of anyone else that I would want to be with me, at the helm of this wild journey that is #talentacquisition. They are not perfect, and I surely am not perfect; but together we push each other to be better, we lift each other up when the load gets a bit too heavy, and we are unwavering. Thank you to each of you for your leadership. You and your teams are the why behind my #joy at Wellstar, and I cannot wait to celebrate all of the #bold playbook changes we have planned in the year to come. WE ARE WELLSTAR TA! #leadership #boldchangemakers #innovation #committmenttoexcellence #talentacquisition #wellstar #unwavering #joy

Did you know 4-H reaches every zip code across the United States? In rural communities where resources are often limited, 4-H focuses on the most valuable asset of all—our young people. Take Wyatt, for example, and the caring adults who mentor him. His “If no one else will do it, I will” mindset is exactly the type of leadership that drives community transformation. How have young leaders in your community stepped up to make a difference?
🌟 Meet Wyatt: A 4-H'er Making a Difference & Nickelodeon 'Our World' Honoree! 🌟 In small communities, services like Meals on Wheels often aren’t available—but that hasn’t stopped Wyatt! This incredible 4-H'er from Texas 4-H Lynn County is stepping up to lead. From organizing Halloween treat bags to cooking meals, Wyatt and his family are making a real impact. And here’s the exciting news: Wyatt’s efforts have earned him recognition as a Nickelodeon 'Our World' Honoree! 🏆 This honor celebrates young leaders who are making a difference, and Wyatt’s commitment to involving all Lynn County 4-H'ers in giving back is truly inspiring. LEADERSHIP & DANCE I love watching dance. There are two forms that spring to mind. Choreographed and Improvised. In the first, the two dancers, preplan every move, very little is created live. The style of dance is a form decided in advance. It's more prescription than leadership. The second is where both dancers are highly trained and great at communicating but there is nothing choreographed. They don't know what the music will be until it starts playing. They don't know what moves they will do until they do them. Relating is improvised within agreed roles. In the second, Leadership and style emerges from the interplay of their timing, communication, and the conditions provided by the music. Most traditional leadership training tries to reproduce the first kind. At Think Distinct we're interested in the second kind. #thinkdistinct #theleadershipaccelerator #leadershipdevelopment

I talk about the power of video communication with leaders a lot. It's not easy for most to do though - including me! As evidence of that and in the spirit of celebrating the things we cock up in order to grow, develop and build confidence, watch my own outtakes from our recent day of Lead Happy filming. We did have a giggle! #walkingthetalk #take56 #leadershipdevelopment 😀 😀
Earlier in the year we hosted a Lead Happy celebration to which a group of Lead Happy clients were invited for a one-off special session at The Box at FarGo Village in Coventry. We gave them some great food and a bespoke session about the role of identity in leadership, and in return they spoke on film about their experiences. We worked with the brilliant team at YouNeek Productions Ltd to capture all the films which you'll be able to see on our new website next week. In the meantime, we thought you'd also appreciate our founder, Anna Jester's outtakes reel. 👀 #leadhappy #ifatfirstyoudontsucceed #leadershipdevelopment #leadhappymasters #leadhappyteams #bloopers
