As we wrap up 2024, I’m filled with gratitude and optimism for what lies ahead. Our Sales Team over here at BMW of Tigard has been part of (and worked through) many meaningful changes—new address, new name, and perhaps an energized sense of purpose. Earlier today, I made note of the Platinum Rule in a note to my team, a principle I learned from Ed Hendricks nearly two decades ago. It’s a guide that’s always stayed with me, and is important to bear in mind as we face any challenges that may arise: “Do unto others as they would like to be done unto.” Embracing the Platinum Rule means supporting our team and clients by listening, understanding, and addressing their needs. By providing the right resources and fostering a culture of collaboration, we empower everyone to be changemakers, problem-solvers, and embrace a growth mindset. This approach not only strengthens our relationships but also drives the growth and success of our team. For me, this often means striving to be helpful, implementing change thoughtfully, providing clear explanations when needed, and working hard to remain predictable and consistent. Change is never easy, but it’s through embracing challenges that we grow. In 2025, let’s focus on listening to and appreciating each other, understanding the needs of those we serve, and offering support with empathy and respect. As we navigate this journey together, it's essential that we work together to stay ahead of industry shifts and external challenges. I appreciate my team for your hard work and commitment this year! We’ve accomplished a lot, but there’s still more to do. We must carry this momentum into 2025. Together, we win. Whatever we pursue, we want to be the best, and that drive will continue to fuel our success.
