How do you juggle finding time to prepare for Christmas and ensuring day to day business continues as normal? and the big question is, is it ever too early to start? 🎄 As a big Christmas fan, my answer is no, it’s never too early! But between Christmas social media content, client messages, staff Christmas parties, community/charity support and more… time can escape you very quickly! We like to make sure we have a team involved, rather than it being one person’s responsibility so we can achieve more in a shorter space of time and it remains manageable! It's always a party at Door No. 3! Hat tip for celebrating 30 years in business. I'm grateful to be part of writing this current chapter. From a new business perspective, it's no small feat to grow an agency. For 30 years, no less. Striking the right balance of growth is a delicate dance. Providing excellent care for your existing clients while running ahead to cultivate new clients. Building a sticky culture where top talent wants to stay while creating demand to grow the bench. Marketing for others, while also marketing for yourself. Staying heads down in the work while staying up on constantly evolving trends. You get it. Holding all of these tensions is the daily work of growth. It's the daily inputs, those little disciplines that compound over time. Keep at it today!

Have you heard about “FedEx Days”? I hadn’t until I read Daniel Pink’s book Drive, and I love the concept! How often do you and your team get a chance to brainstorm new ideas together? Imagine if your company gave you 24 hours, to work on any project you want, as long as it's not part of your usual responsibilities. Pretty cool no? You get to collaborate with colleagues from other departments, work on initiatives to improve productivity or your work environment, you can come up with new concepts, services or products Your ideas are then presented to the entire company. The name "FedEx Day," was inspired by the courier company's promise of overnight deliver. This concept has been hugely successful and has been used to develop initiatives that improve company culture, such as: ✅ platforms for employee recognition ✅ programs for professional development, ✅ new community outreach efforts FedEx Days give employees the freedom to explore new ideas and contribute to the organisation's growth beyond their usual roles.
