“Kris facilitated open and honest discussions about the business, creating a trustworthy environment where I felt comfortable discussing challenges and exploring new ideas without judgment. This openness was crucial in identifying and addressing core issues. The insight from someone outside of our industry was invaluable. Kris’s expertise in data best practices, combined with his ability to relate these practices to our specific needs, provided me with fresh perspectives and actionable advice.” It was great working with Event Concept recently! Thanks for the great feedback 🙌 #eventconcept #dataanalytics #datamanagement #casestudy

How to personalise event experiences with data analytics and feedback 📊 To better understand customers’ needs and meet them, businesses require valuable data and feedback. It is easier to deliver personalised event experiences to attendees based on this data. 📨 Pre-event surveys. Before the event, surveys collect information about your audience's demographics, interests, goals, and challenges. This data guides you in establishing communication and registration strategies to meet attendees’ expectations and preferences regarding the event format, content, speakers, and activities. 📲 Real-time analytics. Using real-time analytics through event platforms helps to track and analyse key aspects of the event, including attendance, engagement, satisfaction, and revenue. These tools help monitor your attendees' behaviour and feedback during the event, such as interactions with the speakers, content, and each other. You can use this data to improve your event in real-time by changing the session format, and topics, removing activities, or sending personalised messages and offers. 🕹 Gamification and motivation. Motivate and reward attendees for event participation, feedback, and goal achievements by incorporating elements like points and prizes. These techniques not only add fun and interactivity to the event but also gather more data and feedback, increasing attendee engagement, satisfaction, and loyalty. 📩 Post-event feedback. It helps to measure the success and impact of the event as well as reveal the strengths and weaknesses of your event. Post-event feedback can be received from different sources, such as surveys, polls, reviews, and social media. You can use this feedback to make personalised offers to your attendees and plan future events based on this data. 🤖 Artificial intelligence. Take advantage of such a powerful tool as AI to create personalised and dynamic event experiences. This includes suggesting sessions, speakers, and activities for each attendee, creating personalised schedules, networking, and matchmaking opportunities, and delivering customised content and personal offers. Personalisation has become a trend in the event industry and data analytics with valuable feedback plays an important part in it. This information makes delivering an ideal event experience for each attendee easier. . #Data #Feedback #DataDriven #EventProfs #EventTechnologyCompany #DataAnalytics

The Real Goal.......Meaningful Event Experiences. It’s easy to get caught up in the hype of adopting the latest event tech, but here’s the truth: it’s not just about using new technology for the sake of it. The real goal is to create more impactful and meaningful event experiences. As event professionals, we need to ask ourselves: how does this new tech improve the attendee experience? Does it help us meet the unique needs of our audience? Does it make our events more engaging, more personal, and more memorable? Staying updated on industry trends is crucial, but it’s also important to think critically about how we implement those trends. Whether you’re incorporating AI-driven engagement tools or leveraging data analytics, the focus should always be on creating more thoughtful and intentional experiences that resonate with your audience on a deeper level. At the end of the day, it’s not just about using technology, it’s about using it strategically to build stronger relationships and create more meaningful interactions. How are you making sure your event tech is working toward this goal? I'd love you to share some ideas!

How is your EventTech stack treating you? Julius Solaris Is on the money again showing you the depth & bredth of solutions on the market for event professionals today. Every Day I am contacted by PCO's, Associaitons and Event Managers about thier event tech stack, In fact a good chunk of my job now seems to be advising people on options that are available to them. The New Wave of Eventtech. Here is an update on the event technology landscape. The map is also available as a PDF with clickable links. You can find it here https://lnkd.in/g4UQX78J This update refers to Q1 - 2024. I added two new categories: content and room block management. Some of the criteria for inclusion in the wider map: * New product features * Revenue milestones * Organic media coverage (no paid placements) * High-profile client sign-up * Recent funding rounds * Country-specific penetration * Recurring presence in online planner conversations * Positive online reviews If I missed you, send me a message by June 15, 2024 with an answer to the above criteria (it doesn’t have to be all of them). This edition is brought to you by BW Events, a platform-agnostic eventtech consulting agency and all around amazing people. Disclosure. Inclusion on this map is NOT pay-for-play. I have worked and do work with many of the companies listed. However, I also have never talked to many of the companies listed. This map does not endorse any of the listed companies and is not buyer advice. Who did I miss?
