No strict adherence to stylistic conventions here—instead, a careful consideration of programmatic needs and climatic influences shapes its form. A subtle yet profound design choice—a near-invisible line of strategically positioned glass beneath deep overhangs—blurs the lines between inside and outside, beckoning occupants to intimately engage with the natural surroundings. From the immediate allure of desert flora to the distant city lights, the views become integral components of the living experience. Even the planar roof forms, artistically contoured, play a functional role in capturing and redistributing rainwater to sustain adjacent vegetation. Material selection goes beyond aesthetics and low maintenance, embracing a commitment to indigenous qualities. Copper, sourced from the Arizona desert, boldly adorns the roof forms, creating an illusion of weightless levitation over both indoor and outdoor spaces. Rammed Earth walls, crafted from on-site excavated soil, gracefully ascend from the desert floor, mirroring the surrounding mountain range contours. The result?
