The studio? Or a playroom? We loved transforming the studio for a recent shoot, and what’s the phrase about never working with children or animals?! Nope! Our child models were just perfection! And sooo much fun to work with! Maybe we can share the final videos with you soon… #videographer #video #ecomm #studiosessions

"You go there." This cat and dog sketch is inspired by my 6-year-old bossing one of his friends around! Turning people into animals or creatures allows us to capture behaviour in a fun and relatable way. Animals often symbolise certain traits or behaviours, which we can then play within the story - would it work if the dog was being bossy? By making the characters non-human, it can be easier for people to connect with them and the story. This approach connects with both kids and adults alike! -- #characteranimation #animationdirector #characterdesign

What does a videographer's day rate cover? Well, aside from my years of experience in the creative industries; the van-load of kit that needs upgrading regularly; the countless application and resource subscriptions; my skills as a film-maker and editor... But also, sometimes, pure danger money. Especially when working with unpredictable animals: #videography #horses #videomarketing #dangermoney

Last week, I got a few more bits to help with wildlife filming, one of those being the TILTA Follow Focus Lens Zoom Control. So today I wanted to share the unboxing experience. As well as showcasing the setup and my first thoughts! Of course, I will be doing a follow-up video, where I share more of my thoughts, after having more time to film with it! #video #videomarketing

When I was 7 I wanted to work for National Geographic! A few weeks ago, I had this realization that I was as close as I have ever been to being able to make a dream of the 7-year-old me, come true! The realization came to me, after watching Our Planet on Netflix ( another amazing production narrated by David Attenborough). For me, I have always respected dedication to the craft of wildlife camera operators, To go to X place and "hurt" an animal for weeks. Just to get a small sequence of shots to tell a story! After this realization, I was like "Wait why couldn't I do that", No I don't have the RED or SONY FX6 etc. But I do have a camera and I do a "long" lens, so why am I not just starting filming? Mostly for fun, but in classic me factor always thinking about how I could get into "pro" wildlife filming. The easy answer, create content showcasing that you can film it, and then work out who to show it to.. So here goes! #wildlifefilming #video #videomarketing
