#NationalDessertDay means two of our favorites- walnuts and maple syrup! Perfect over ice cream, waffles, or as a snack. Maple Syrup Wet Walnuts 1 cup walnuts, toasted 1/2 cup local, pure maple syrup 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 1/4 teaspoon sea salt 1. Turn oven on to 425 degrees F and pour walnut halves onto a cookie sheet. 2. Place in the oven immediately. As the oven heats up, the walnuts will toast in about 5-7 minutes. 3. Let cool. 4. Stir all ingredients together, taste, and adjust to your preference.

This Dry Month Mocktail is for my coffee lovers 🤎 Introducing... the Cold Brew Citrus Coffee ☕️ This delightful blend of rich coffee, zesty lemon, and a touch of sweetness is a perfect way to enjoy your day. Ingredients 1 cup of coarse ground coffee 4 cups of water 1 cup of sugar (or monk fruit) 1 cup of lemon juice Method Place 3 cups of water in a jug and add the coffee. Allow the coffee to steep overnight or a 8 -24 hours. Strain the coffee through a paper filter into a bowl and place in the fridge. Make a simple syrup with the remaining cup of water and the sugar by bringing them to a simmer in a saucepan until the sugar has dissolved. Allow the syrup to cool. To serve, pour ¾ cup of coffee into a cup, add 2 tablespoons of simple syrup and 4 tablespoons of lemon juice. Stir and adjust to your preference. Ice cubes can also be added.
