Should we, can we perceive ‘reality’ and ‘non-reality reality’ in ourselves and everything we see?
Could Minimalist art when expressing blackness and whiteness and nothingless, provide such a portal?
While observing the Minimalist image, is the apparently unresolved dialogue between the black monochromatic of Nothing, or white as Everything (or its contrary), the perception, the physical and metaphysical substance of consciousness?
As the distinction between planes is erased, textures are explored, and the observer discovers that from close up, there is an appearance of pure contrast, but that from a distance, the paintings reveal a non-language which projects the beholder beyond the conscious thinking mind into the limitless world of the absolute, where ‘reality’ and ‘non-reality reality’ become one?
