🌍 Remote work isn’t just about flexibility and work-life balance — it’s also about boosting your salary potential! A 2024 report from Workplace Trends Magazine reveals that many remote workers, especially in industries like tech, digital marketing, and software development, are seeing salary increases of up to 20% compared to their office-based counterparts. - Why? Companies are breaking down geographic barriers, tapping into global talent pools, and are willing to pay more to secure top talent, regardless of location. However, it's important to note that not all remote roles guarantee a pay rise. While many remote professionals benefit from this trend, salary increases vary based on industry, experience, and the company’s approach. Companies benefit from the remote model by accessing a broader pool of skilled employees, while workers gain the freedom and flexibility of remote work—along with the potential for higher pay. At Filta, we specialize in connecting skilled professionals with companies that understand the value of remote talent. Whether you're looking to expand your team or find a better-paying remote job, we're here to help you tap into global opportunities. Ready to take your career and salary to the next level? 🏢 Remote Work 🏠 The #futureofwork is here! #Remotework offers flexibility, reduces commute stress (time and money), often significantly increases staff motivation and productivity, and allows companies to tap into a global talent pool (and the list goes on). Meanwhile, some of the employers announce RTO, or move in the direction of structured-hybrid, and new other trends related to freedom of working are on the raise. Did you hear of “coffee badging” 🤔 ? If you value the modality of WFH, but your company is not providing such platform, or perhaps announced RTO, check out the below 👇 article from Forbes, with a list of 29 Companies #Hiring Fully Remote Jobs in 2025. https://lnkd.in/ej2Ejz7j #DigitalCollaboration #humanresources #recruitment #jobseekers #jobs #employment #careers #jobsearch

Will remote workers stagnate their own wages in the long term? Hopefully not, but as more people enjoy the benefits of working remotely, there might be an unintended consequence. Prior to the pandemic, when seeking a new job, most white collar workers were in direct competition with candidates only within a certain proximity of an office. Now, with remote work, that barrier of location has come down. While traditional non-remote positions appear restrictive to the employee, it also insulated the worker from distant cheaper labor markets that were seen as inaccessible or inconvenient to the employer. This benefit is especially true for positions within urban areas where the cost of living is generally higher than in rural communities. Let’s say you live near a large metropolitan area and your current remote position pays $70k per year. Prior to the pandemic, it was not remote. You find a new job and resign from your position and the vacancy is now considered remote. Will your former employer resist the urge to recruit from regions where candidates would willingly accept your previous position at a significant discount? Probably not, especially when the savings can be easily repeated and might offset the losses taken on commercial real estate leases for properties now vacated due to remote work. Now imagine the above scenario compounded over time and across millions of jobs. I enjoy the benefits of working remote. I also like sugary snacks. Neither might be good for me in the long term. #remoteworking #workingremote #remote #workfromhome

"What's most important to you when looking for a new role?" For the majority of people it comes down to two main things - ✅ Salary ✅ Remote working We all know why Salary is so important - we've all got bills to pay. Remote working is a different story. Most candidates aren't looking for remote working, they just want the trust and flexibility to be able to work where and when they can. Trust that they will get their work done without someone breathing down their neck every 2 minutes! Flexibility to decide whether they want to go into the office or not. If companies offered FLEXIBLE WORKING they would see a big increase in the attraction to candidates. Keen to hear people's thoughts on what they think about Remote working and Flexible working! 😀 Also a big thank you to Emma O'Reilly for the poll. We should all be crediting people for their content 👍 #RecruitmentEducation #LetsMakeRecruitmentGreatAgain #RemoteWorking #FlexibleWorking

Companies: "We need to shift non-essential, in-person office work remote due to COVID. This is a hardship we must all endure!" Companies: "We are seeing boosts to productivity and engagement, so we are making remote work permanent." Remote Workers: "Remote work is pretty cool, it's kinda like a raise!" Companies: "👀" Companies: "Seeing as remote work is less financial overhead to the worker, we are lowering salaries for remote positions. Remote work, is the perk!" Remote Workers: "Sigh... ok... At least I don't have to sit in traffic and buy gas/lunch." Companies: "Due to 'The Culture' and missing seeing all your cheery faces, you all have 90 days to be back in the office full-time or find another job." RTO Workers: "😧And the remote adjusted salaries?" Companies: "🙉🙈🙊" #Remote #RemoteWork #RTO

When Will True Flexibility for Remote Candidates Become a Reality? Despite the growing global demand for flexible work arrangements, why do so many recruiters and employers remain reluctant to give remote candidates a real chance? I've observed a trend where positions advertised as "remote" often shift to "hybrid" without notice, leaving candidates in limbo. And for hybrid roles, the strict refusal to consider fully remote candidates—even when they could be the best fit for the position—is disheartening. The talent pool is no longer limited by geography. We have a world full of capable, experienced professionals who are eager to prove their worth, and many thrive in remote environments. So, when will we see a shift in mindset? It's time for companies to recognize that great talent can come from anywhere, and offering a secure, fully remote option not only widens the talent pool but could be the key to finding the best person for the job. What are your thoughts? How can we drive this change to create more inclusive hiring practices? #RemoteWork #wfhjobs #wfh #FlexibleWork #Hiring #Talent #FutureOfWork #payroll #linkedinjobs

--- I have a bit of an issue with people who insist on demanding remote work from the company. They get to the point of getting upset with the company and questioning its decisions. I understand that for some, this remote option is necessary and healthier. However, I completely disagree with this insistence on the part of the employee. I learned in life that when you want something, you should go after it yourself, but not force someone else to do what you want. Therefore, if you want a remote job, apply for a 100% remote position, instead of bothering your boss or HR by demanding it. If you want to demand this from a company, create your own company. #RemoteWork #RespectTheRules #RemoteJob #WorkFlexibility #JobSearch #CompaniesAndRemoteWork #ProfessionalAutonomy #CreateYourFuture #ProfessionalResponsibility #HybridWork
