Can the demand be supplied? World aviation is heading to a major talent vaccum. New generation is not willing to take up aviation as their career path for various reasons and most of the senior talent will be retiring in this decade. What are we doing to attract next generation to join aviation industry and what are we doing to retain the old talent.? With the growing demand for air travel, will it be safe for the travellers and the aviation workers? Pilots, engineers, cabin crew, ground handling, groomers, security and catering we all deliver a service that cannot be replaced by a regular person. We have selected a carrier path that is unique. Time we have invested, training and certification we acquired and the experience we have gained cannot be replaced overnight. Aviation authorities and airlines should promote avaiton to the next generation.Advise to newcomers. Don't give up on your dreams.Work on your qualifications and experience. Tides are changing. We are ready to share our experience. If the demand is not supplied, we will be bracing for impact rather than getting ready for take off. FUTURE OF AVIATION DEPENDS ON THE NEXT GENERATION #aircraftmaintenance #aviation #aviationlife #pilots #ame #amelife #airlinecrew #cabincrew #groundhandling #airline

Dear Indian Aviators, Many of you have asked about the road map to becoming an EASA Licensed Engineer, so I’m sharing a step-by-step guide to help you reach your dream destination.(So Précised) 🖋 Step 1: Clear Basic Part 66 Modules Start by passing the Basic Part 66 Module exams and collecting certificates from an EASA-approved 147 school. 📝 Step 2: Obtain Basic AML Once you’ve successfully completed Step 1, apply to an EASA regulatory authority with the necessary forms, documents, and work experience logged in Personal Logbook.3 Years for Cat A , 5 Years for B1/B2 Yes Few Authority Agree DGCA approved 145 organization Logbooks!! Once Basic License is issued, you can apply For Europe and Middle East Organization like Ryanair, Etihad, Lufthansa, Qatar Etc. Note: Unlike the Indian DGCA, no computer number is allotted here. ✈ Step 3: Type Training After obtaining your Basic AML, undergo type training for a specific aircraft. We recommend starting with the A320 or B737 as your first type rating course. (Reason for this recommendation explained in Step 4.) ⚒ Step 4: SOJT Program Upon passing the theoretical and practical exams for your chosen aircraft, you’ll need to complete a mandatory Structured On-the-Job Training (SOJT) program for your first type endorsement at an EASA-approved organization. Common SOJT programs are available for A320 and B737. After completing the SOJT, apply to the EASA regulatory authority for your first Aircraft Maintenance License (AML) with the necessary documents. Note: No SOJT is needed for subsequent type endorsements. 🛫 🛫 🛫 Step 5: Start Certifying Aircraft Once you’ve received authorization from your working organization, you can begin certifying aircraft. This is a Short overview of the process. For more detailed information or assistance with any of the steps, feel free to contact us at +971-557572947 or email us at enquiry@aeroplanner.info. or Comment for Any Doubts!! At Aeroplanner, we’re here to support you throughout your journey to obtaining your AML. We’re kicking off Step 1 in Bangalore Again from Nov 27-Dec . Let’s start early and finish early. Pillars of General Aviation - First Officer General Aviation comes with its own challenges for all involved in flying and operations, except for the First Officer's. They are the only ones who enjoy's privileges and that too a lot of them. So let me just list out a few major ones: 📍 They have the privilege of being the first ones to know about the flight and that is because they have to coordinate the readiness of the aircraft, check the routing, filing of flight plan, fuel requirement, availability of departure, destination alternate airfields, weather, watch hours etc. 📍 They have the privilege of being in control of the administration because after all vehicles, hotels and in some case catering has to be tied up. 📍 They are generally first in and last out at the airport/aircraft because operational documents have to be collected and prefight medical arranged. 📍 They have the privilege of removing the pins/ cover before flight and securing the aircraft after flight - come rain or shine 📍 The have the privilege of meeting and greeting the guests, loading and off loading of the luggage etc because all this effort comes in handy whilst making the load and trim sheet. 📍 The have the privilege of enhancing their knowledge by getting debriefed for what did not go right or as planned - after all what ever went right was supposed to be their duty in any which case. 📍 They have the privilege of enhancing their regulatory knowledge by doing all the paper work before and after the flight, at the office and then some more. 📍 They have the privilege of learning from the best of best, larger than life Pilot in Command 📍 They have the privilege of paying lesser tax by the virtue of lesser pay or rather being under paid. They also get to stay in one company for a long time due to the large bond amount/duration for their training. There are many more but I think the idea has been conveyed. So is there a difference between a Junior first officer and senior first officer - maybe a tiny bit, if at all, in the pay, but essentially the privileges remain the same My advice to all the First Officer's of General aviation thinking of getting their ATPL and moving to left seat - TAKE A MOMENT TO REFLECT ON WHAT ALL WILL YOU LOSE. Moreover, you are the Hercules of General Aviation and are bearing its weight on your shoulders. #firstofficers #PIC #captains #generalaviation #GA #management #skills #flying #buusinessjets #cabincrew #AME #technicians #trainees

At Symbiotics, our pilot aptitude tests are trusted by Airlines and Aviation Training Organisations all over the world. Our practice assessments give you the opportunity to have a go at these tests prior to taking them during the pilot recruitment process or as part of your pilot training. Taking a practice test allows you to familiarise yourself with the pilot aptitude testing process, helping to remove test anxiety, and allowing you to demonstrate your true capability. Alongside our individual assessments, our experts have grouped together practice assessments into bundles each designed on the tests used during the recruitment process for specific aviation roles. Select from roles including Cadet, First Officer and Captain to see our tailored bundles here: https://lnkd.in/eU-bcQF6 #pilottraining #pilots #firstofficers #aviation #practicetests
