I first used you years ago to help me apply for my first commerical flying job. When the opportunity with TUI came about all I had to do was go back and familiarise myself with the techniques I learnt from you the first time and apply them to this specific airline. I got the same result and it worked! A big big thank you to Flight Deck Wingman !

    After seven months of dedicated job hunting, I am thrilled to share that I have finally received my type rating date for the Citation CJ3. Transitioning from the Royal Marines to the right-hand seat as a First Officer has been quite a journey, and it hasn't been without its challenges. I learned that having all the qualifications isn’t just enough; once my CV made it through the initial sift, I faced a series of psychometric tests, simulator assessments, psychological evaluations, and numerous interviews. Now that I've completed that intense process, I can finally take a deep breath and look forward to the upcoming Type Rating—this is the final push! I couldn't have done this without the support of my Mum and Dad, my girlfriend Sam, my son Noah, close friends, and several accomplished pilots who have all played a crucial role in helping me reach this milestone. A special thanks goes to Paul, James, and John at AV8 Jets. And also a thank you to Andrew Neofytou at Flight Deck Wingman. Your interview techniques and CV writing courses have been incredibly valuable and I truly appreciate your support and friendship. Here's to the next chapter.

    Flight Deck Wingman has been a longstanding supporter of the British Gliding Association and the UK Junior Gliding community. We recognise the benefits that gliding brings to young people’s personal and professional growth and we work hard to develep their competence as they look to enter aviation careers. This week it was a pleasure to welcome Ava on our Assessment Prepararion Course. Ava won a sponsored place on the course as a part of our support of the Inter University Gliding Competition held this summer. We were really impressed by Ava’s development and trainability throughout the day.
