Manny: “I’ve never seen a deal so clean in terms of numbers like this…” Me: “Wait, are you sure?” Manny: “I’m positive… This is the best one we’ve had at our hands so far.” Our offer might not have been the highest, but we used the other thing… We decided to submit the offer in person, so Tenny took a four-hour drive and met the sellers one-on-one. During the buying interview call, we’ve provided all the knowledge we had, the way we’ve presented ourselves, the way we’ve talked with the sellers… That made us stand out. And that’s the main reason why we’ve got the deal. Our tenacity, resilience, persistence, high standards, teamwork, and consistency… are the values we embody in our daily actions. Concluding a Negotiation at the very last moment?! This has been for all of us involved in commercial or other types of negotiations happening so many times. And at the end of day if this does not disturb operating your business properly and this was worth it why not… thoughts on this? I've known enough humans, and buying committees, to know that deep discovery is essential as buyers simply won't do this on their own. We are not naturally predisposed to: - define the problem exactly - define the root cause of the problem - map the utopia on the other side of the problem So we need exceptional sellers (consultants) to ask these superlative questions that cut through quotidian thinking and help the buyer map the journey from pain-point to perfect outcome. So rather than 'try and remember your pitch', come locked and loaded with the best possible Qs. What are they in your case?
