Anritsu and dSPACE showcase #digitaltwin for improved #VRU protection at 5G Automotive Association (5GAA) Meeting Week “Today almost 40% of #fatalities on the road are people outside the vehicles: #pedestrians, #cyclists, road workers, children, and more. It is a priority for the 5GAA members to leverage C-V2X technologies to protect these vulnerable road users. This digital twin technology demonstration shows how C-V2X communications can offer this great societal opportunity,” said Maxime Flament, CTO of 5GAA. At the Meeting Week, held on October 23-27, 2023, in #Detroit, Michigan, the companies demonstrated a #roadsafety use case using the C-V2X 5G network for cooperative communications. dSpace's PC-based simulator is a tool that simulates the integration of #environmental, infrastructure, sensor and vehicle information using a PC. #defensetech and #politics have similar dynamics: We all want the same #outcomes - we just differ on the prescriptions on how to get there. In UAS Nexus case: it’s building and strengthening an #industrialbase for drones in the #West. Most all of us share the same objective, we just have different thoughts on how to get there. Alas, these ‘shared goals’ is often diluted through elections, SBIR applications, #lobbying, and #engineering efforts that impede interoperability among different platforms. Like politics, the #drone industry is fragmented by different groups with their own competing interests and ‘grand vision’ - and like politics, the friction prevents progress and innovation. TLDR: I don’t like some of you, and y’all don’t like me - but we have to work together to save the West’s ability to project power and preserve our way of life - it’s really that simple.

Incorporation of bio-inspired neuromorphic hardware in the procedure of tracking dynamically changing target with the use of UAVs.
