Struggling with sleep? Big meeting/presentation/exam coming up? Try this breathing method if you struggle to fall asleep or whenever you feel anxious. The 4-7-8 breathing technique involves breathing in for 4 seconds, holding your breath for 7 seconds, and exhaling for 8 seconds. Rhythmic breathing is a core part of meditation. It promotes relaxation which helps with anxiety, sleep issues, and anger management. When you first start off, it’s recommend you only repeat the cycle up to 4 times as you might feel lightheaded or dizzy. After you get the hang of it, repeat as necessary. Let me know how it goes or if you’ve tried it before👇🏻 ➳ #meditatedaily #meditateonthis #mindsetshift #breathingtechniques #mentalhealth #selfcaretips #worklifebalance

On a mission to help 1 million women to love and care for themselves and attain holistic health in their lives.
Body Scan : Sleeping mindfully is as important as living mindfully, as drifting off to sleep with a tired body but a restless mind will carry forward your daily stress to your sleep too, which means the deep sleep that's considered restorative may evade you. In body scan meditation, you focus attention on every part of your body, which helps release the hidden stress and allows you to slip into a deeper and more restful sleep. Sleeping well is associated with increased longevity as it can help chronic diseases at bay and boost your overall well-being. #Holistichealth,#Healthyliving,#Wellness,#mindfulhabits,#longetivity,#bodyscan,#sleeping,#smallhabitsbigimpacts,#smartwork,#poonam_jaisinghani09
