Crowdshipping is considered as an important solution to make parcel deliveries more sustainable. But how can we intgerate crowdshipping with public transport? And which parcels are most efficient to outsource if we want to reduce the mileage of delivery vans? For this year's Expo, I applied the logistics theme: FILO (First in, Last out)! "First in" means a coffee with Philipp Wick, the new I&L Operations Director at CC Real. Phillip brings a wealth of experience from his previous role as Head of Real Estate for Southeast Europe at DB Schenker. First reflections from the last three days: investors remain committed to the I&L sector, and there’s increased conviction in the current window of opportunity. However, alongside the positive energy, I’ve noticed some growing concerns from different investors about the German Big-Box occupier market, both from a supply and sentiment perspective. Overall, market fundamentals are strong, but this is worth monitoring.

𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗹𝗲𝗶𝗸𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗚𝗞 𝗗𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 Since the beginning of June Florian Bleikamp is the new Managing Director at HGK Dry Shipping and supports the existing management team, consisting of Andreas Lemme and the CEO, Steffen Bauer. European dry shipping is undergoing a process of fundamental change. Flows of goods in particular, which are changing as part of the energy revolution, need to be adapted to make this business viable for the future – and the experienced logistics manager is set to focus on this issue. Another key task for Florian Bleikamp will involve providing greater integration for all dry shipping activities along the German and European waterways.
