"What fluid are you handling?" is one of the first questions we ask when it comes to a new pump application. Ensuring the wetted parts are in compatible materials is vital to prevent costly downtime and replacements caused by impellers, seals and other components swelling, becoming brittle, melting or eroding. So, don't fall victim to chemical incompatibility: ❗ Give full disclosure of the fluid, and specify all fluids that you plan to use the pump for ❗ When it comes to fuel and oils, always specify any additives that may get added after ❗ Confirm temperature and concentration e.g. Hastelloy C is compatible with Hydrochloric acid at 10% at 20°C, but at 40°C it has limited resistance #pumps #pumping #pumpsolutions #centrifugalpumps #pumpmaintenance #mechanicalengineering

Next to metering pumps, gear pumps are equally essential in water and wastewater treatment systems. Their reliability and ability to handle viscous fluids and slurries, make them suitable for specific applications, like: 💧 Sludge Handling: They are perfect for transporting thick, viscous sludge mixtures of solid and liquid waste. 🛢 Transfer of Thick Liquids: Efficiently move oils, polymers, and other viscous fluids, which may be used in various treatment processes. ⛽ Pumping Coagulants and Flocculants: In cases where coagulants and flocculants are highly viscous, gear pumps ensure their proper delivery and mixing. 🧪 Chemical Injection: Used for less critical chemical injection processes where high flow rates and moderate precision are required. At Diener we produce robust and durable gear pumps capable of handling viscous fluids at high flow rates with low-maintenance requirements. "The Vital Role of Extreme Pressure Additives in Lubricants" Did you know that extreme pressure (EP) additives are critical for lubricants operating under high load conditions? These powerful additives activate when temperatures rise due to extreme friction, forming a protective film on metal surfaces to prevent wear and welding. They're essential in gear oils, metalworking fluids, and any applications where the lubricant must withstand significant stress. At Valorem Chemicals, we specialise in providing EP additives that enhance the load-bearing capabilities of lubricants, ensuring your equipment maintains peak performance even under the toughest conditions. #ExtremePressureAdditives #ValoremChemicals #LubricantPerformance

What’s your Remaining Useful Life? Oxidation chemically degrades oils causing failures. All oils eventually fail due to oxidation. In many applications such as turbines, hydraulics, compressors, and aerospace, oxidation is the primary mode of failure. In these applications, the most important additive components are antioxidants. The patented RULER V uses Linear Sweep Voltammetry to quickly and accurately measure active antioxidants in lubricants and easily trend the depletion of these critical additives. With this information, you now know how much longer your fluid may last. We call this the oil’s Remaining Useful Life (RUL). Field Tested. Industry Supported. The RULER technology has received strong industry support over the last 15 years. There are four ASTM standards written around it (D7590, D6971, D6810, and D7527) as well as industry guidelines (ASTM D4378, D6224, and DIN – VGB M416). Major equipment OEMs such as Siemens and GE recommend RULER as part of a condition monitoring program. Furthermore, most oil and additive manufacturers use the RULER technology as both a condition monitoring and research tool to gain further insights into their lubricant formulations. #Ruler #Antioxidant #conditionmonitoring #oilanalysis #ASTM #standard #oil #turbine #hydraulics #compressor #RUL

💡Screw Pump💡 A screw pump is a type of positive displacement pump that uses rotating screws or helical rotors to move fluid through the pump. It is known for its ability to handle viscous fluids, slurries, and liquids containing solids or abrasive particles. Screw pumps are widely used in various industries, including oil and gas, wastewater treatment, chemical processing, and food production. Screw pumps offer several advantages, including: 1. Viscosity Handling: Screw pumps are well-suited for pumping high-viscosity fluids, such as heavy oils, bitumen, and sludges. They can maintain a steady flow even with thick and sticky substances. 2. Solids Handling: Screw pumps can handle liquids containing solids or abrasive particles without clogging or significant damage to the pump. This makes them suitable for applications involving wastewater treatment, slurry pumping, and handling industrial byproducts. 3. Efficiency: Screw pumps are generally efficient and can deliver a smooth and uniform flow, which is beneficial in many industrial processes.

𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝘃𝘀. 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗹 🤔 Which is the better choice for pumps? Choosing between plastic and metal for pump components depends largely on the operational fluid involved. Plastic is often the ideal choice, especially when dealing with aggressive chemicals. 𝗪𝗵𝘆? Because aggressive chemicals can cause corrosion in metal, but not in plastic. This ensures longer-lasting, more reliable equipment, reducing maintenance needs and extending lifespan. When it comes to pumps, Savino Barbera's products provide exceptional solutions. These pumps: ✅ Are made entirely of acid-resistant thermoplastic ✅ Do not have metal parts in contact with the liquids being pumped This prevents any corrosion issues. 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗻: Savino Barbera ensures that spare parts are available even years after the original supply, providing long-term support and reliability. So, are you ready to consider plastic for your pumps? Explore our product categories to find the right solution for your needs. We also provide industrial mixers and related products. 🔗 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲! #pumps #corrosion #chemicals

#Pneumatic #Diaphragm #Pumps And #Accessories For #Garnet #Removal Machines Pneumatic diaphragm pumps are a type of positive displacement pump that uses compressed air as a power source to move fluids. They are designed with a flexible diaphragm that separates the air and fluid chambers. When compressed air is applied to one side of the diaphragm, it flexes and creates a pressure differential, causing the fluid to be drawn into the pump chamber. As the diaphragm moves back and forth, it alternately expels and draws in the fluid, creating a pumping action. Here are some key features and advantages of pneumatic diaphragm pumps: -- Self-Priming: Pneumatic diaphragm pumps can handle viscous and abrasive fluids and are capable of self-priming, meaning they can start pumping without the need for manual priming. -- Versatility: These pumps can handle a wide range of fluids, including corrosive, abrasive, and viscous materials, making them suitable for various industrial applications. -- Dry-Running: They can run dry without damage to the pump, which is useful in situations where fluid flow is intermittent or unpredictable. -- Variable Flow Rate: The flow rate of pneumatic diaphragm pumps can be easily adjusted by regulating the air pressure, providing flexibility in pumping applications. -- Safety: Since they are powered by compressed air, there is no risk of sparking, which makes them suitable for use in hazardous environments where flammable liquids are present. -- Portability: Pneumatic diaphragm pumps are often compact and lightweight, making them easy to transport and install. -- Low Maintenance: These pumps typically have fewer moving parts compared to other types of pumps, resulting in reduced maintenance requirements and downtime. Applications of pneumatic diaphragm pumps include: -- Chemical transfer -- Paint and ink circulation -- Slurry and sludge pumping -- Food and beverage processing -- Pharmaceutical manufacturing -- Waste treatment -- Mining operations Website: www.waterjetsupplier.com www.waterjetindustry.com www.winwinwaterjet.com Email: phoenix@waterjetsupplier.com phoenix@allwaterjet.com
