☛ 3 lessons I won’t forget from my 8 months at Bombardier
1) Forget Textbooks, Coffee is Where Real Decisions Happen ☕
At university, we learn the importance of structured meetings and formal presentations, but here’s the truth: some of the most important conversations happen casually over coffee. At Bombardier, these spontaneous chats led to real problem-solving and breakthroughs that formal meetings didn’t always achieve. Sometimes, the best ideas aren’t found in boardrooms.
2) Market Share Forecasting: More Than Just Numbers 👓
As part of my internship, I developed a market share forecasting model for business jets. I quickly learned that it’s not just about crunching data, but about understanding the market forces at play and translating them into strategic insights that can guide future decisions.
3) You Won’t Know Everything, and That’s Okay 📚
As an intern, I quickly realized you don’t need to have all the answers. Asking questions and learning from experienced colleagues is a key part of growing and contributing effectively.
On this note, I’d like to thank the Business Intelligence team for welcoming me into their group. Gaetan Handfield , Guerric Ranchon, Daria Fratino, Nicolas Chan Tak Nam, Jennifer Vandergoten, Eric Ramirez, Lorena Moura, Monae Marcum, Dominic Valentino
If you’re looking for an internship where you can truly apply your university knowledge in the real world, Bombardier is one of the best places to do it.
