Drone pilots share the sky with manned aircraft, so it’s essential to always be vigilant of low-flying aircraft. Rule 14 CFR § 107.37: Each small unnamed aircraft must yield the right of way to all aircraft, airborne vehicles, and launch and reentry vehicles. #NationwideDataCapture #FlyGuys #DroneSafety

EVTOL will change warfare. In the past, only a few companies could produce aviation Turboshaft engine and Turboprop Engine, so the cost of helicopters was high and the actual number was not large. However, EVTOL has changed the threshold for helicopters, making them the same as electric cars. And it has a larger carrying capacity than common small drones. In this way, battlefields requiring helicopters such as amphibious landings and close air support will become more intense, and unmanned aerial weapons will become more popular. Compared to the way drones have changed warfare in the past two years, the next role will be EVTOL, a simple and accessible low-cost alternative to helicopters. Unmanned cargo drones and EVTOLS will eliminate the bottleneck of the number of pilots for military aircraft, making it possible to industrialize large quantities of equipment. #Electricairtaxis #flyingtaxidubai #flyingcar #electriccar #AAM #AdvancedAirMobility #UAM #VTOL #HSVTOL #eVTOL #airtravel #airlines #businesstravel #AirTaxis #FlyingCars #Robotaxis #Autonomous #TransportIndustry #AAM #UAM #CASA #Purpose #VWCV #AirShip #evtolmilitaryapplications

In a major industry breakthrough, Delta Air Lines has received Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approval to integrate small drones (sUAS) into its aircraft maintenance processes, becoming the first U.S. airline to do so! This innovative move enhances safety and efficiency, with drone inspections initially focusing on post-lightning strike assessments. ⚡ The technology is now officially part of Delta’s Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) for the entire mainline fleet, showcasing a bold step towards smarter, faster inspections. 🔧 Delta TechOps Delta Air Lines Federal Aviation Administration Mehar Jaiswal Brian Watts Jeff Keisling Basil Papayoti Rick Uber Ed Bastian David Thompson David Sneed Kate Modolo Jeff Keisling Matteo Curcio Penny Jacob Peter Carter Ed Bastian Don Vassel Alicia Tillman #aviation #aerospace #aerospaceindustry #aviationsafety #faa #drones #avgeek #aerospaceengineering #aircraftmaintenance #innovation #technology Reas more: https://lnkd.in/deSynxZs

Where's that drone from and who can zap it out of sky? Simply questions with complicated answers. Here is our latest on new mystery drones in the U.S., led by Lara Seligman and Gordon Lubold. One surprising reality we found: Drones have the same status as piloted aircraft under federal law, and currently only a handful of agencies have legal authority to take them down. What should Congress and federal agencies do given the rising threat, balanced with concerns over aviation safety? https://lnkd.in/g9J5WuCZ

The anti-drone system, equipped with a 12.7mm Gatling-type machine gun, achieves a rate of fire of up to 3,600 rounds per minute. Zakłady Mechaniczne "Tarnów" together with the Military University of Technology (WAT) developed a modern system for combating unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), called the Zwalczania Dronów System. The basis of this system's armament is a multi-barreled WLKM 12.7 mm machine gun, made according to the Gatling-type scheme, which effectively hits targets at a distance of up to 2,000 meters.
