Harman and Ethan haven't even left the ground, and the learning process is already fully engaged. Like everything in flight, Taxing and Comms are part of the many aspects of mastering the skies. Learning how to fly is one of the most rewarding and engaging challenges we can take on. Flying as a career is a beautiful Journey, but there is an argument that the experience alone, of learning how to fly, is enough reason to go through the process of getting your private pilot license. Whether you are interested in becoming a career pilot or just the adventure of obtaining your PPL, flyNEXA is the place to learn if you want to go through the process in the most modern, safe, easy-to-fly, and comfortable aircraft in the flight school industry.

🛩️ Skill In Progress: Learning how to fly a Cessna 172 For the past month or so I’ve been learning how to fly a Cessna 172. I had the choice of either taking AP Psych or “Flight School” and of course I chose Flight School. 🧠My decision making process: What would I regret not doing more? Which one aligns with my life goals or interests more? And why do I want to do it? I’ll be frank, the choice was hard and I enjoyed my teacher for psych, but flight school is what I call a “once in a lifetime experience”... 🎯Focus & find more “a once in a lifetime experiences” 🎯

Program completed. Thank you ATP Flight School. This sense of accomplishment is quite challenging to describe. You need experience it yourself. Henry Ford famously said, “Whether you think you can or you think you can't, you're right”. This quote emphasizes the importance of attitude in determining success or failure. It suggests that our beliefs shape our reality, and that if we believe we can accomplish something, we're likely to succeed. Not too long ago I’ve completed my first solo and today I can teach someone how to safely do their first takeoff, fly pattern and land or teach and endorse new commercial single engine pilot to how to have good ADM and operate multiengine aircraft in the IMC. I had to stop and process that for a moment. Unbelievable. It will not be easy, nothing worth doing is ever easy. The sky is never always calm and blue. If you think you just can’t do it anymore when you are struggling in the cockpit with task overload during say first days of instrument flying then when you back on the ground after that flight just stop and think for a moment. Think why you do this. What drives you to become a safe and proficient pilot? Why are you in the flight school? Then do instrument flying at home at your desk. Practice, stay in the sim, chair fly then go back in the sim then repeat. Show your dedication and it’ll show results in the plane and of course don’t forget to take breaks and recover. ATP is fortunate to have an amazing personnel. Instructors, technicians, office staff and of course, my fellow student pilots, every single person that I interacted with during the program were fantastic. They all helped tremendously and I wish best of everything to all of them. Numerous practical and written tests, hundreds of takeoffs and landings, approaches, numerous maneuvers and hours and hours of studying, simulated and actual IMC, now I’m here with all my ratings and certificates. An achievement worth working for. #aviation #pilotlife #atpflightshool #flighttraining

We've all heard it before: quality beats quantity. But for pilots, there's a crucial truth to consider: attaining that top-notch skillset often requires racking up some serious flight hours. Here's the breakdown: Quantity Builds the Foundation: Those initial training hours aren't just about ticking boxes. They're the building blocks of muscle memory, situational awareness, and honing your decision-making under pressure. The more you fly, the more comfortable you become in different conditions, building that critical foundation for quality flying. Quality Takes Flight: Experience alone doesn't guarantee mastery. With each flight, actively seek opportunities to refine your skills. Analyze your landings, practice emergency procedures, and debrief with colleagues. It's about turning those hours into continuous improvement. The Sweet Spot: The ideal scenario? Finding the balance between quantity and quality. As your experience grows, prioritize flights that push your boundaries and expose you to new situations. That way, you're constantly learning and elevating your piloting skills. It's a journey, not a destination. Every takeoff adds another valuable chapter to your logbook. Keep soaring high! #pilotlife #futurepilot #aviation #pilottraining #flying #avgeek #studentpilot #careergoals #dreamjob #technicalcertification #pilotintraining #aviationstudent

🛫✨ Embracing Preparation: Lessons from Flight Training to IT ✨🖥️ As I progress through my Flight Instructor Course, one principle stands out above all: the importance of preparation. A part of our training involves "spin-training", a scenario where we intentionally place ourselves in a situation we never wish to be surprised with. We do it safely and gives ourselves all the margins we can imagine, so a simulated problem will not become a real one. We do it to understand how the aircraft responds and, crucially, how we react. It's about being ready for the unexpected, knowing that preparedness can be the difference between a smooth flight and turbulence. When flying with students, we never intend to enter a spin; in fact, we do everything we can to prevent it. But as pilots, we understand that it's better to be prepared for any eventuality. Just as in IT, where thorough testing and preparation are key before any major deployment. This approach instills a confidence that the plan will work when it counts. It's not just about ticking boxes; it's about knowing, without a doubt, that we've done everything in our power to ensure success. The parallels between these two seemingly disparate fields are striking. Whether it's understanding how an aircraft responds to a sudden wing drop or ensuring every line of code is rigorously tested, the message is clear: preparation breeds confidence. So, as I navigate the skies and the digital realm alike, I'm reminded of the invaluable lesson I've learned: the importance of being prepared. Because when we're ready for anything, we can soar to new heights. 🚀✈️ #Preparation #FlightTraining #IT What about you? Have you encountered situations in your field where preparation made all the difference? Share your experiences in the comments below! Let's learn from each other's insights. 👇🗨️
