VP Sales & Marketing | Fractional Chief Growth Officer | Storyteller | Writer | TEDx Speaker | Podcast Host | Branding, Marketing & Business Development | Focused on Mining
On the Rocks Podcast with Emily King does it again! 🔥☄️ As a storyteller, this episode resonated in so many ways. I definitely laughed out loud in agreement a few times. 1. As a non-technical person in mining, spending the last year building confidence in my skills, hearing my advice mirrored back was validating. If you are an account executive or account-based marketer, read the pitch decks, but analyze the MDNAs! That’s where the real insight is. 2. The industry’s quarterly press releases are absolutely terrible for retail investors. Find new ways of telling your story. AND….really tell your story. Why are you in business, what’s your team’s origin story, why did you invest in the region? 3. If you’re an investor, ask questions that provide for deeper connection and conversation in the company or project. This will add to the organization’s value and demonstrate transparency. Also, everything we do in this industry is driven by you, so if you want change, drive change. The Femina Collective has some exciting projects to lead these discussions. April is organically shaping up to be a communication month for The Changing Face of Mining and I’m excited about it! #mining #storytelling #investorrelations #communication https://lnkd.in/gF7eS8YY
