The Carbon Trust will be hosting an online second session on 'Measuring financed emissions in Africa – how to do it and why it matters' alongside the British International Investment, FMO - Dutch entrepreneurial development bank, and Joint Impact Model Foundation due to take place on Tuesday, 10 September 2024. The session is aimed at financial institutions and will unpack how the financial industry can facilitate the transition to Net Zero emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs) by shifting capital from high to low carbon activities, focusing on how this shift can be made through harmonised and transparent GHG accounting.
