Is Your Brand as Good as Your Work? The study focused on the clarity and distinctiveness of nonprofit brands—elements that are immediately apparent to an outsider. This approach is crucial because, for most people, a few seconds are all it takes to form a judgment about your organization based on its verbal and visual identity. The findings were eye-opening: Of the 315 nonprofit brands we evaluated, 37% had low scores, 9% had average scores, and 53% scored high. That means that almost half of the brands we looked at are missing opportunities to connect with and engage their audience effectively. I need your help to change some lives. Because a lot of people are struggling right now. But I want to talk to you about some very specific struggles. Over the course of the last year and a half, I have talked to so many women. I have talked to women from every walk of life and every background in the tech industry. I have talked to women who have been forced into HOMELESSNESS after getting laid off from the technical industry. I have talked to women who have had their belongings sold because they couldn't afford the storage unit payment anymore. I have talked to women who have had to close their business and choose to go back into private industry. I have talked to women who have YEARS AND YEARS of experience, and still get told they aren't good enough. I have talked to women who went to school specifically for some technical specialization, graduated with a bachelors, and STILL can't get a job. I have talked to women who have been told NO so many times, that they just don't give a damn anymore. It's THOSE women I want to help. These are real women that I'm connected with. I can't help everyone, and so I'm choosing to what I know best; which is how to navigate the tech industry. The only way that I've been able to help the people I've talked to thus far is with my outlook, and experience. But I want to help with something more: WITH DOLLARS.
