Today, I revisited the useEffect hook in React and revisied some essential CSS concepts, including Flexbox properties. I also began creating a product listing page inspired by Flipkart. 🛒✨ Objective: Revise the useEffect hook, understand Flexbox properties, and start building the Flipkart product listing page. Building Flipkart Product Listing Page: Component Structure: Created a product listing page displaying multiple product cards using Flexbox for layout. Each product card includes an image, name and price / discount details. Implementation: Built the ProductCard component and used it multiple times to display different products. Tomorrow's Plan: Objective: Continue building the Flipkart-inspired UI by adding a footer and navbar. Enhancing the User Experience of the Flipkart homepage. With the help of the lecture video and the workbook, I was able to gain a different perspective on how I viewed any app. I started looking for flaws and room for improvement with the help of Usability Heuristics which include, Visibility of system status, Recognition Rather than Recall, Error Prevention, Consistency & Standards, Help and Documentation, Aesthetic & Minimalist Design, and Flexibility and Efficiency of Use.

Here’s what I’ve accomplished so far: Key Features of the Frontend UI: - User-Friendly Design: Crafted a clean and engaging layout to enhance user experience and ensure easy navigation. - Responsive Design: Currently implementing responsiveness to ensure that CDrive functions smoothly across devices, from desktops to mobile. - Integration with Backend: Establishing seamless connections with the backend API to enable functionalities like file uploads, downloads, and user authentication.
